Hello, friendos! I hope you all had a safe, fun and Bud Light-free Independence Day … and have emerged with all of your digits intact.
In Friday’s meme-letter, I teased a new newsletter that I’ve started, and I wanted to share the news with all of you. Introducing: Latchkey, a newsletter for Generation X. Okay, I say it’s for Gen X because I write it (and curate news) from my perspective as someone who was a little kid in the 70s, a teen in the 80s and a young adult in the 90s. But, truly, it’s for everyone — and I’d love for you all to join me! (Fun fact: It’s not political!)
In full transparency, here’s my plan:
Invite each of you to sign up over on the newsletter site. The newsletter goes out on Saturdays, so that’s the quickest way to get on the list and get the next issue delivered right to your inbox.
Migrate my email list — including you! — over to Latchkey little by little in the hope (🤞) that you all will enjoy the newsletter. If not, just unsubscribe over there, no hard feelings! You will still be subscribed to the meme-letter here at Smart Girl Politics.
So I don’t bury the lede, here it is again: This will not change the meme-letter! You’ll still get your twice-weekly hit of memes just like normal. If you find yourself on the Latchkey list and don’t wish to be there, hit unsubscribe. That will not affect your meme-letter subscription.
You all are the best and I hope to keep seeing you here on the meme-pages and over at Latchkey. Your feedback is ALWAYS welcome, so please reply to this email with any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have.
Keep on meme-ing,
— Teri
