How do you like the new banner? It actually goes hand-in-hand with today’s update on Smart Girl’s social media accounts. In short, Instagram (AKA, Facebook) locked down our account over the weekend, with no reason given. Too much free speechin’ going on there, I suppose.

So, I’ve renamed the Instagram account “PolitiFizz” — which is a name/brand I was thinking of using for some Smart Girl stuff anyway. I even dusted off an old FB account to make a PolitiFizz page. Will they let these pages stay up? Who knows. Our resident trolls will surely try to get them taken down because of all that free speechin’.

So, if you see this logo:

That’s Smart Girl! And, yes, that’s an Alka Seltzer — a much-needed chaser for news these days.

So, please come join us on those pages! In the meantime, I’ll keep sending out the memes via email. And we’re working on figuring out Telegram — that might allow us to do weekly voice chats. Could be fun, right?
